Default WTB: Scanner?

This is a bit far fetched, but does anyone have a scanner, preferably digital with APCO-25 support. I have been checking eBay and Radioshack but there selling for around $300-$400, which is more then i'm willing to spend.

So if anyone has one that they are willing to sell, i'm very interested.

I failed to detect sarcasm there so im assuming you were serious.... What i think geoff is on about is a radio frequency scanner, and a digital one at that, watch out geoff, you can realm into illegal-ness if you tune into the wrong thing (police broadcasts, restricted bands etc...)

Did you even read his post or know what APCO-25 means?

I have an OLD scanner, probably quite vintage now, nothing like you'd want I tried to use it around my house a few times but I can't hardly pick anything up where we are

Sorry for not clarifying, yes, a frequency scanner (police scanner, etc). I can find analog ones for around $75, but the digital ones are crazy expensive on eBay and in stores.

I was mainly asking here if someone has one that may be in only fair condition, but works, and would be willing to let it go for a good price. So again, if anyone has one, please post here

Yeah, sorry man but mine's analog. Besides' I'm not totally up to selling it. Speaking of which, I think it's in the basement. I better take it up to my closet or somewhere nice and dry

I drive around the city alot delivering pizza, so I thought it would be pretty cool to hear the police and fire rescue that go by all the time. The only thing is the police dispatch now runs on APCO-25, and I really dont think its worth $400 to listen to them .
