It would be perfect if you owned an HDTV, maybe it would be more convenient for some people.

The adapter for DVI-HDMI is only about $30, even for Monster. I would use HDMI in a heartbeat.

My gfx card is only VGA and S-Video, I am go into hook up an HDTV also, so I guess I need a new gfx card... The TV has VGA, component and HDMI, I will obviously use the VGA for the monitor, so should I get a gfx card with VGA and DVI and use an HDMI/DVI changeover cord, or get one with VGA and component.
I plan on getting it from tiger direct, and they have one of each for about $59 With just DVI and VGA http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...512222&CatId=0 With DVI VGA and Component http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...583347&CatId=0 Any input would much appreciated |

HDMI connectors is for high quality connection to an HDTV. the most recent version of the HDMI cable(1.3 i think) also puts the audio through the cable so there is only need for one cable(the HDMI) to output the video and audio

OK Cool, So dont worry about component, Just get DVI/VGA with adapter.
They are the same price, Would it be woth it to get the one with Component. Or not even bother... Ive never heard of diablo before http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...512222&CatId=0 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...583347&CatId=0 |
