So i bought a new webcam after i had so much trouble with the last one (i guess i should have learned my lesson)

Anyways it doesnt seem to want to work and heres a step by step to how it goes wrong i have contacted the seller but thought the knowledge on here would probably be better than what info i get back from them so here goes:

The product arrived today and I have tried to install it several times however the same problems keep cropping up. Firstly when I install the software using the selected 301h-n Driver as stated the install begins fine but then after the files been downloaded this message comes up:

"The software you are installing has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with windows xp"

So I click "continue anyway"

Then it asks if I want to restart I say "yes"

I reboot login to windows and attach my camera to the USB port, In the tool bar it says that a vimicro webcam has been found but then runs the hardware wizard I have tried both using the wizard and cancelling the wizard but both times the same message comes up on the final page.

"There was a problem installing this hardware Vimicro USB PC camera (ZC0301PLH)

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware.
The driver may be corrupted or missing. (code39)"

(I have the driver cd in when the wizard is scanning)

It then takes me to the device manager where they again tell me the same thing in the device status. When I got to the actual vimicro folder and open the amcap program a message comes up that says "the image cannot be previewed properly" I have tried pressing the button on the camera and nothing happens I have also tried to just start the capture but nothing happens.
