I do not know why people worry about resources and all that with todays computer systems. I used to worry about it when I ran my old P3 with 128mb's of ram that was ages ago though and I've not worried since. I'm using the Royal theme, I no longer worry about changing themes and wallpapers which I once did. I've had the same theme and wallpaper's for a long while now. I would not be bothered with the Royal (media center style) theme but lets face it... the regular XP style looks kind of gross. Classic view? well I'm sick and tired of that as well (used it for many years).

I completely agree. The difference between classic and XP style is extremely low in terms of usage, and as long as you have over 256MB of RAM it shouldn't be a problem.

I use WindowBlinds now for the christmas theme

I know what you mean, You get a really good wallpaper that seems to go great and you just keep it there for ages, I've had the theme and wallpaper I have now for a while too

It makes quite a bit of difference on low end systems. I've said it before, I'll say it again, If you are bored of your windows theme you spend way too much time looking at it instead of what's contained in those windows
