Default headphones please

im looking for a pair of headphones, im aiming for $100 or lower, but can prolly go up to $150. i wanna use it for my pc and my ipod. im going to use them snowboarding, so if theyre helmet compatible that would be good, but i dont always wear my helmet so is they arent helmet compatible it should be fine. im looking mainly for sound quality. i searched the forums and i didnt find a whole lot.

one thing i'd like to, im not sure what it would be called, but i want to be able to listen to my headphones relatively loudly without everyone 2 rooms over being able to hear it..

I have the Griffin Earthumps, ($15, lol) and they are great, though they wouldn't perform the same as a $100 set.

I've tried out the E500PTH Earbuds... Amazing sound... Amazing quality, and they didnt fall out of my ears once. Just what you would expect from Shure.

i can strongly reccomend these. Saitek A300'

they truly have an awesome sound, its pretty comfortable to wear them, and really awesome sound quality.
I really wouldnt spend more than $40 on a headset (40 is quite a lot already) the ones that cost more dont have much better sound quality (also keep in mind you have a lot of noise from the background always anyway) the difference is usually just very small.

besides.. you said you go snowboarding with them,.. what are the odd's of a cable breaking during that?
