Check startup programs,

just go to start > run

type "msconfig" then OK

Go to Services tab

Check the "Hide all Microsoft Services"

then remove all unusable services...... be carefull not to remove the antivirus service.

Go to Startup tab> also remove all unusable programs.

Um. If your computer doesn't start after you disable it, then you'll know

For instance, I don't have an Ipod, so I disabled the service from Itunes for Ipods, etc. Just kinda try.
