Default Crysis Screenies

http://incrysis.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=1735

From the In Crysis forums, pretty nice. Common complaint was the apparent lack of AA used for the screenshots, though personally if they look THAT good without AA, I can't wait to play that at full resolution with full AA/AF + HDR and all the goodies on a G80/R600!

Just thought I'd pass these on, didn't knwo if they'd been posted here, yet.

I wouldn't have much faith in it running well with AA with anything less then the G80.

From what I have peiced together, the trailer's that have been released previous to G80 were run on a system running with X1900XTX or X1950XTX cards in crossfire and it still seemed to get somewhat choppy in a spot or two. As we know, the G80 owns 2 X1950XTX's in crossfire with a respectable margin, with drivers which I would say can probably use further tweaking. So really, it seems as if this game (wonder if this speaks for al of DX10) really is going to be one that requires one to crack into the "new era" of computer parts to enjoy.

Either way, I just cannot WAIT for it to come out. Even if it DOES cost me 700+ dollars in upgrades, software, and OS crap.

Wow, I am actually quite disappointed. Did you see the explosians? It looks like something from the original half-life.

The explosion itself is pretty primitive, but it does have some cool sparks and effects to it

Partly because it doesn't have AA enabled, but I see what you're saying.
