Default My scholarship is sending me a new laptop

Its a compaq...

They said I don't have a choice on what to get. They have a deal with compaq for the students. I am just wondering if someone has experience with their scholarship committee sending them laptops and if it was the bottom line one. I mean, I appreciate the laptop of course, but I don't want to end up getting a celeron processor

The check they wrote out was for $1500. I hope they are actually using the whole amount and I'd end up getting a core 2 duo.

P.S.

I don't want you guys thinking I'm being greedy. It's just that I don't want to have a laptop that I won't even be able to use. If I get that celeron processor that is offered on the base models, I won't even be able to use it because I have programs that require more processing power and I do a LOT of multitasking.
