SRF

Hey everyone,
I recently reformated my computer, and have started installing the basic software back onto it. The problem I am having is with my wireless internet router. (D-Link ANT24-0700) When I had my wireless internet set up the first time it was from a family friend, so I'm not quite sure how he did it. However it is the second computer on the network, so the main one is already hooked up and working. I have followed the installation guides and what not, but it doesnt seem to work. I don't think my upstairs computer (the second one) is getting internet at all, because the LED doesnt light up on the router. I am also able to access my configuration settings from the main computer, over the an internet browser (where I can configure everything, the whole http://192.168.0.1 idea...). Im not to good with wireless internets, so Im curious to know, do i have to configure my upstairs/second computer through my first/downstairs one, in order to get internet on it?
