Default My comp.fails to go to the login page - Help me plz

whenever u switch on the comp. first it turns on the monitor, then the boot screen comes then the windows and then the login page comes.

But wat my comp.does when i switch on is,
it turns on the monitor
then the screen comes (whether to operate in safe mode or previous well known configuration).if i click the safe mode or all other options, the windows screen appears. But, wat happens after that is it shuts down the monitor and reswitches it on and does the same things as mentioned above.

Y'day it did like tht for more than 30 times.

Previously i had this problem once, but when i restarted it 3 times it was working fine.

Please help me in this issue frnds.I'm missing my comp.real bad

Sounds to me like a Windows error. When did it start doing this? Have you tried reinstalling Windows?

I tried to boot with windows xp cd but it is not helpful. But the last option is formatting it.Since I dont have the backup of all the important programs which I have in C drive, I'm thinking of solving this problem without formatting.
Plz giv me suggestion

I honestly have no idea waht your problem is BUT, i do know my computer does something similiar sometimes and to solve do this:

First, whens its restarting press <del> to bring you to that blue screen.

Next go to the i think itds called ??? auto detection. Its the option right above save and exit setup.

Once your in there set the top option to auto. It should be at user right now with a bunch of different other settings, so switch that to auto, press esc, save and exit and hopefully it starts up fine.

Sorry for the lack of precise names but i cant recall it off the top of my head.

mmm yeah i have no clue what your talking about, but i suggest setting up your harddrive on someone elses computer as a slave copying anything important to the other harddrive then doing a reformat.

A bad PSU may cause it. How many AMPs are there on your 12v rail of your PSU and how many wattages?
