OEM just comes with the processor, Retail comes with the processor, heatsink/fan, box, manual, and case badge.

Case badge? Sticker?

Is the manual really needed?

I know that if your overclocking its better to go with OEM since you can get your own better heatsink/fan.

If your planning on getting a better CPU fan than what comes with the processor, then I would stick to OEM.

Case badge is the same thing as the sticker... you know, the pretty Intel one

Not really, considering theres really only about 1 page of info in English.

It's not better, because you can just not use the HSF with the retail, but theres no harm in having an extra one just in case.
