Default Software for using multiple computers on LAN

I need a software to use the computers on my LAN to minimize the time of processing
it's a software you install on several computers and then use them (parallel processing)

He's talking about a program that allows you to use the processing power of all the computers on the LAN.

I've heard about some programs that have that option, but only for those specific programs. I think one of them was Cinema4D, but i'm not sure.

That can not be done with the windows platform unless there is a third party app designed for it, like a render over network applciation, like back burner.

You can however, look into something like this. It sure as hell won't be easy to set up, but you can take a look.

Well clustering is expensive. You would have to buy licenses for server OSes, and hardware for the servers to cluster them. Regular old windows client doesn't do any of this.

However, there is an open source community that does develope for this type of stuff, and you can use regular old machines to do so.

Unless you have lots of money to toss into a windows cluster set up, you're only really legal and viable option, is a beowulf cluster.
