Just bought a Gateway GT5228 and put a RocketRaid 2300 SATA RAID controller in it. The RAID controller is not recognized (controller bios does not even load) on a cold boot. The computer must be warm booted when it comes up for the controller to be recognized. Then everything works fine. RocketRaid tech support was no help. Bascially said there are issues with some motherboards. Has anyone had any luck with Gateway and other brands of RAID controllers? The motherboard is a nVIDIA GeForce 6100.
