Default Gun...Problems

Hi,

I just got this Pc game called Gun.

It works great and gameplay is fine...However i hear no sound when they are talking.

Everything else i can hear like gunshots and other other things like trains and boats but during the video clips in the game i cant hear them talking

Ive re-instaled it again but its the same

Any suggestions?

As always I'll recommend updating sound drivers (or try older). Check in your games settings and make sure options like EAX, 5.1 surround etc. are turned off (if available).

Some games also have problems with sound acceleration.

Get yourself into dxdiag and try lowering the audio acceleration on your card

Nope still the same

Maybe my intergrated graphics just aint powerfull for it?

I dont see why i mean it plays all other games ok and the sound quality is quite good.

Would i notice much differance if i done what Jet said and get a cheap Sound Blaster Live! card?

Since it is a sound issue, I would not worry about the graphics acceleration. Has nothing to do with why your not hearing voices. Is there no option in "audio" to turn up or down voices? some games do.
