If you had to choose between a x1950pro and a 7900gt (cost not being a factor) which would you choose for a good gaming system that includes a e6300

Agreed, the 7900GT would be the better choice. The 7900GS is actually a bit better then the x1950PRO in most games.

I have heard a lot of people saying that x1950PRO is bit better than 7900GS !

I think thats very strange.

Anyway between X1950pro and 7900GT, I say 7900GT
