Sound card Problem

I dont know what wrong wit the sound car but ill work for like a bit then i cant hear anything, the only way for me to hear anything is to restart the comp? any ideas

the card work before great for my older system..

PS. Playing CS without sound sucks

yeah had that same problem, my advice to you is to update your drivers, and if that doesnt work, then receat the card, as in take it out and put it back in, some times that fixes things, i ended up getting a new card, cause it pissed me off
