Again, we will have to agree to disagree. I think MS will flop on the DX10 thing and eventually release it for XP. I also think that if a developer was wise they would want to keep in legacy support for casual gamers. You figure if a video game sells 10 million copies, only a small percentage of those 10 million are hardcore gamers that will play all the time with the latest and greatest hardware. When people get forced to upgrade who are casual (which is a subjective term I suppose) a lot of times they will just wait until its cheaper or whatever. Vista did not get that great of sales, and especially not the amount of sales they anticipated. In fact most businesses and educational organizations will not roll out vista for another year probably or more.
