Games coming out in 2007

How many do you think will be DX9 compared to DX10?

for the comming few months games will be dx9 for sure ( or at least dx9 compartible0 since else they just wouldnt sell good enough for the producers to make profit

I agree that except for a few, we can expect games to be largely DX9, especially the first half of next year. It'll really depend on the stability of Vista and how well it's accepted...

oh it'll be accepted allright. i was ona buddies computer with the beta version of vista and games play beautifully (this is at least partially due to the 8800gtx in it though)

I'm sure the majority wont be DX10 compatible for quite some time. Even when they are, you can still use DX9 cards on them I believe.

yea dx9 wont go out this quickly. then spent money making it, they want their monies worth

^^ Very true. Plus, I was running a DX7 card on DX9 games for quite a while, so it shouldn't be any different with the games/cards for another year or two...
