Default How are these speakers?

Well, I don't know too much about speakers, but I'm thinking about getting these speakers:

5.1, 70 Watts, etc, and all for under $50. The reviews are excellent...and I was wondering what your opinions were on it.

Also, I was wondering if they would work with my mobo:

Hey I have a question sort of about sound, etc...

I have a Hauppuage WinTV- PVR350...and while watching today on my new speakers, I noticed that only the front left and right speakers play TV (the other ones work for music, etc)...I was wondering if the WinTV application, etc, are compatiable with the surround sound. What I mean is...can I get sound out of the rear speakers, and/or center speaker.

Also, is there a program I can use just to manage the surround sound/speakers in general? Like if I want to turn off a computer for whatever reason, or concentrate the music on one speaker only....just overall management software.

Thanks for your help.

i own a pair. they're awesome, like you said.
in fact, i bought a pair (well, the 5.1 of course) for my aunt i liked them so much, and the 2.1 configuration for my uncles computer.
definitely a good purchase im always satisfied with anything made by logitech. (especially my G5 gaming mouse lol)

Look up 3 posts, then look up 2 posts. I already bought them and hooked them up...I'm looking for surround sound management software.

haha sry.
just read the title of the thread and quick replied.
surround sound management software = sound drivers.
if your drivers dont feature it, then you need a better sound card.
EAX is what most games support. then there are new versions EAX 2-4 i believe...
may i make a suggestion?

There is some sound management software for my onboard sound driver (not planning on upgrading anytime soon, btw)...but it isn't as adjustable as I was hoping for. It's basically just an equalizer.
