Default Help!! how do use the other hard drive?

i had to reinstall windows xp due to viruses off the internet. The viruses are now gone but for some reason i have to harddrives partition1 (c) and local disk(f) i did not notice this before.

The partition1 (c) hardrive has 30gb available space and local disk (f) harddrive has 187mb. When i install programs e.g nero it goes to the local disk (f) and then says there is no space left on the pc.

How do i get rid of this so it is just my partition1 (c) that i will install to. It is driving me crazy.
Thanks
John

hmm, download Partition Magic 8.0 free trial and use that. You will be able to extend the C: partition to what ever you want.

Download here

EDIT: I have the full version, im not to sure if the trial version will let you do it, but its worth a go.

If you right click on My computer and click manage, on the left go to disk managment. have a play around with that, there might be something in there that may help.
