AMD Athlon 64 3700 or an Intel Pentium D 805 or an AMD Athlon 64 4000 please dont recommend any other cpu's , just out of these 3 what one is better? Last edited by Pc_Pimp; 11-24-2006 at 02:54 AM. |

The pd 805 is better mostly because of it being dual core. Though taking the considerations of heat disapation I might lean towards the anthlon. I don't know.... Get more opinions.

64 4000, if you are going to game, or intel if ur more application based, as all the new games released now are based and tested on AMD CPU

Athlon 4000...it's by far the best out of those. I think the 805 does a few applications more quickly, but the Athlons are faster over all...

pentiumD 805 is better than AMD in multitasking
AMD is better than PD 805 in gaming And according to tomshardware, AMD 3700+ and 4000+ was better in audio coverting and photoshop If you want to use your computer for gaming and If you use photoshop then get AMD If you want to use your computer form multitasking and if you don't play heavy games then get Pentium D |
