Default Temp question...

I just downloaded Everest cause a friend recommended it. I'm looking at my temps and I'm wondering if they are high or if they're ok.
I have a Sony Vaio running XP service pack 2. I have a Intel Pentium 4 at 2MHz.
my Cpu temp idles at 42C and seems to max out at 45C
and my motherboard is at 29C.
can someone let me know if these are too high?

They're not too high at all. They're perfectly fine.

Yeah, your temps are fine...no need to worry really until it gets 70ºC or more.
