Default A simple question...

Sigh, my computer now is officially infected by viruses cause i cant run any anti-virus program for my comp so i decided to buy a new computer

So , my question to you guys is that would my new comp will be infected by the virus in my recent comp.

These question may sound simple to you guys out there, but im here just to make sure.

Umm, not if you don't connect the old one to the new one.

what do you mean by connect? connect the modem or the wires?

You can connect the modem to the new one no problem, throw the old one out the window.

why to buy a new one?just format the old one's hdd.

you can take your hdd to some other guy's computer.And let him help you to format it.
Or you can use your window xp disk to format it.just boot from the disk,get into the console mode,which is like dos mode.you can type some commands there,including format.if you want to format the partition c,the commant is like this "format c: /q".

before you get into the console mode,you need admin. password.

Is it by any chance i can format it without using the disc cause i might had lost the disc >.<

as i have said,you can connect your hdd to your friend's computer.let him to format you hdd on his system.
