Default CPU with SSE

hi, i have bought this game but i cant install cos it says i need a cpu that supports SSE

can i get around this problem, i guess i dont know what cpu i have to be quite honest.

To find some basic System info go to: start>Control Panel>System

pentium 3 supports sse and news cpus. possible a minimum of a processor 800mhz

CPUz will tell you for sure what your processor is and what it supports. I know the early Athlons and some Athlon XPs didn't have SSE... My Desknote(XP 2000 processor) didn't support it so I couldn't run Premiere Pro...

An Athlon XP 2000+ doesn't support SSE?

AMD seems to think the contrary.

requirement for premiere pro 2.0. i assume the amd xp was sse but it required sse2.

Could of been a mobo limitation or something, but I'm 100% sure it wouldn't run on that laptop. If I'm not mistaken, the post is still in the archives here

That's probably something like an old Athlon 900MHz. I know the original Athlons didn't have SSE...
