Default ethernet or wireless?

i am going to buy this router so i can use my laptop wirelessly

my current pc will be plugged in by ethernet cable. my new pc will be in the room next door. should i get a wireless pci card or another ethernet cable

I would always prefer the wired way, but if you move the computer around frequently, or find it difficult to run cabling neatly, then wireless may be the way.

You have a reduced speed with wireless, but for normal everyday use it is not really a problem.

i would think you may as well go with wireless because its pretty unlikely that ure going to need 100mbps through the ethernet cable.

wireless is 54mps and i wont be needing that either. the cable might be better as its a solid connection

i would say go with wired, as you should always have a good connection.
i would say, if you really want to go with wireless make sure there isnt too many obsticles in the way of the signal (ie walls, doors etc...).
also, if you want to download or use internet / package heavy stuff go for wired, wireless usually loses a lot of packages.

and if you want wireless...... the more expensive the better it will be that router is pretty cheap, therefore the wireless may not perform too well...
