Music on 5.1

I just bought a new computer and I have a 5.1 speaker system. Is it possible to have music (mp3s) coming out of all five the speakers. Till now I managed to have them all working only with DVDs.

yea, it'll be in your sound drivers. ive got my back speakers at 70% and my front speakers at 30% just because the back speakers are further away.

what type of sound card is it? ive got an audigy 4 pro, if you've got integrated sound i'd upgrade to an audigy or an X-Fi just for the drivers that they use, they're awesome.

lol they've even got a setting to change the voices into chipmunks its pretty funny... works the way it should too haha

I have a Creative Labs Audigy SE 7.1 OEM Sound Card. Could you please tell me exactly what to do?
