Default laptop hdd split in 2!!

hi just got my new laptop and the split into 2 halves of about 25gb each. one of them called acerdata(d has nothing in it but the (c has got about 6gig of system info settings documents etc in it.

how can i make it into one hdd without the partitions cos otherwise it will be annoying with 2 halves?

thanks in advance

jon
