Extracting Files

Ok my computer has had a serious problem extracting files for a longtime now. I can download the files just fine but when I start the extracting wizard and press next I get a message saying, "Compressed (zipped) Folders Error, Error Reading the File." I know it isnt the file cause this happens with all of the .zip files I install. Can anyone help???

1-The file can be corrupted
2-Try using Winrar
