playstation vs mediacentre pcs

there are gaming pcs like playstations and xboxs and there are mediacentre pcs running on mediacentre OSs.
both kinds of computers have features above average pcs.

which is better?(from your point of view)
which is cheaper?

A gaming computer can easily be a media PC, just slap on XP MCE and a TV tuner.

media centers are most likely cheaper because they dont need high end CPU's and GPU's.

IMO i wouldn't class a playstation/xbox a PC. Whislt they pretty much are internally, they have nowhere near the capability of a PC.
