LCD TV's have a much lower resolution. It's good for videos and games, but not if your trying to use it to read text.

What? That particular TV runs at 1366 x 768. That's higher than my laptop's screen! I think you're refering to CRTs and their 720x480 interlaced resolution...

1366x768 is not much at all for a 26" LCD. Your laptop is was, 14.1" or 15.4"? The LCD on my old 15.4" laptop was 1680x1050, and the resolution on an LCD 15-19" is 1280x1024.

Certainly having a 26" @ 1366x768 will make text somewhat fuzzy, and not as crisp as on computer LCD's.

But that still wouldn't be really bad. I mean you'd see the pixels, but it's not anything like 720x480, nor is it interlaced.
