Default Buying a new gaming PC

Any advice on which is the best value for money?

I don't really want to build it myself, so which companies usually give the best value for performance?

I'm looking to spend about £1000, which is about $2000. I've looked at Dell a few Dells, in the UK Dell shop there's two XPSes, the 210 and the 710. Both of these computer's stats cam be found here: http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/pr...hs1&l=en&s=dhs

I've looked at some Alienwares, which look very sexy, but after searching a couple of forums I'm getting the impression that the general consesus is that they're very overpriced...

Also, I found a site called Wired2Fire, which is a UK gaming PC shop... http://www.wired2fire.co.uk/ccc.php

Do either the Hellspawn Ultima or the Diablo Ultima look better value than the Dells?
