I recently looked into pf usage in the system settings in control panal only 1 of my 2 partitions is being used for pf, will this decrease speed of my pc? I split the drive because, it better for recovery if there is a problem.

I've moved your post to a new thread.

I think it would only slow your PC down if you had the page file split across the 2 partitions because the drive head would have to move more to access different parts of it.

It wouldnt make a difference, since both partitions are on the same drive. By default, the PF is only on the partition/drive that the OS is loaded on. You can move the PF to a different hard drive, which may increase performance because it will be strictly used for a PF, not for accessing data.
