Default Case cooling fans ???

can you get fans that fit on side of the pc case to help you cool the inside ? i was thinking of like cutting the holes in the side of case and having one fan blowing air in and another fan pulling air out ? can this be done and can anybody recommend decent fans if it can be done ?

Yes...It's one of the most important things for a computer. If you have a computer with no cooling then it probably won't last long. Your case should already have some places to mount fans. If you can give us a link to the case or take some pictures of it and then post it here, then we can tell you where you can mount some fans and what size.

Your case should already have atleast one fan inside it (unless the computer is ancient). Even really crappy cases should alteast have 2 fan mounts, one in the front and one in the back. Check around your case and see if you have anywhere to mount fans. If not, then you sure you can cut a slow and fit in a 80mm or 120mm fan, preferably 120mm.

there is a fan on the heatsink and a fan on the power supply but this is all.

my cpu (athlon xp2400+) runs at temp of between 50-54 deg, would adding fans to side of case help with this temp or should i invest in a new heatsink and fan ?

thanks guys
