Default Klipsch promedia 2.1 or Creative megaworks 2.1 thx?

I am really stumped on witch ones to go with. I have 150 to spend on a good pair of 2.1 speaker's, and I have no idea witch ones to go with. If you have any other suggestions on other speakers I will be glad to take them into consideration. I am looking for something that is really clear, and has alot of bass.

theres some logitech ones in the 140 price range that are really good 2.1 speakers that my brother has used. They are very crisp and clear and cover all the ranges welll.

but creative and kipsch are good speaker brands as well. But in my experience the klispch arent as good covering mid range as well as creative and logitech.

best thing is to test them in real life tho

I played with each set in the store. Both are decent for the price. I ended up going with Klipsch in the end. Like Creative, it is THX certified. For 2.1 the sound great. The only way to really compare them both is to find a store that carries both and mess around with them in the store. Otherwise you will probably be happy with either. As far as price is concerned there is little difference. The Creative speakers will be just a bit more but you get what you pay for. I checked out the reviews on www.cnet.com and the Creative speakers were reviewed more favorably than Klipsch. Good luck.

Or... do some research... Everything from www.cnet.com to www.eopinions.com to www.zdnet.com will allow you to read customer and editor reviews.... customers usually do not lie when they spend money and something either works or does not.
