Default Saving my files

My old computer which was running Windows 95 recently packed up and died. I am getting a new computer soon which will be on Windows XP. I was wondering whether if i just plug the old drive in the new computer will i keep all my files or will i lose them all. If i will lose them do you have any ideas as to how i could save them.

As long as your old computer died because of problems BESIDES the hard drive, you should be fine to just stick the old drive in your new computer.

Default ....

You'll have to change the pin setting on the old HD and make it a slave drive, but the new computer should have no problem recognizing it.
