Default New computer case.

Is it necessary to have a $50 or more case? Mike seems to think that my case has to be expensive, but I like a $30 one better then anything else.

You can choose any case you want but depending on the features then paying the few extra bucks isnt all that bad. Things you should consider is overclocking will heat up your computer so getting a nice airflow through your computer is perfered, atleast 2 holes. 80 fans make a lot of noise, 120 makes less noise, want it quite or loud? mobo tray's are always nice to have. knowing how hot it is in there with gauge or lcd monitors are also very useful. material isnt really much of an issue though, all three are fine, acrylic, steel and aluminum.

well, facts are:

This case is MUCH better
LIAN LI PC-V2000APLUSII W Silver Aluminum Server Computer Case - Retail
then this case:
RAIDMAX Astro ATC-268WS Silver 0.7mm Japanese SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail

you get what you pay for with cases

this is what she wants:
LOGISYS Computer Area 51 CS51WSL Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 480W Power Supply - Retail

its fine, I said she can get it, but for $25 more then she could get a much better case
