Default can we mix DDR1 with DDR2 modules?

hi..! Im gonna build a new pc. and Im still confused which notherboard to get, because I still wanna use my old RAM which is PC333 (512MB) and PC400 (512MB), and then buy a DDR2 RAM (1GB), maybe PC533.
will I be able to use them simultanuosly`?
I only found 1 motherboard from Asrock (Asrock 775DUAL-VSTA), that has 2x DDR1 and 2x DDR2. is there any other motherboards out there which has 2x DDR1 and 2x DDR2?
thanks!

You have to use one or the other, not both at the same time.

if you try to add ddr2 memory to what you have, it will take over and the ddr memory will not be seen.

DDR2 is a 240pin module, and DDR is a 184pin module. You CAN NOT use them together, they wont even fit in the same slots unless you force it, and if you do, you will ruin your motherboard and possible other components.

I used to have that motherboard, and they say specifically not use them both together, with many caution reminders as well.
