The main difference to note is the 2-3-2-6-1 memory timings on the Kingston compared to the 2-3-3-6 timings on the Corsair xms series memory. 2gb(2x1gb) of Kinston Value Ram has actually performed better on the Asus Socket 939 board here over the previously used 1gb(2x512) Corsair xms series dimms without ocing involved noting the increase of size. Corsair has always had the rep for being "gaming memory" however. Some have experienced problems with OCZ memory with Asus model boards if the model in your sig is the one the memory is intended for.

that's weird. the corsair link points to kingston, and the kingston link points to corsair.

the kingston seems to have a little better specs, but i'd go with the corsair.

Don't overlook Kingston as a good choice either. But if you go to Asus you will see Corsair as the advertised brand of memory. So you can't really go wrong either way!

The two are both great brands to go with. I noticed Gigabyte has Kingston ads on their main site. I just found with Asus that certain brands will seem to work out good with certain makes of boards. They get fussy on their own. Mushkin was another name for older line of Asus models that ocers liked from the comments heard. You should make out fairly well there with either since both are good to start with.
