upgrade from 98 to xp deleted my mails

hello...

i upgrade a computer from win 98SE to win xp pro.
i use outlook express mail client.
win 98 holds all the dbx files in windows\applicationData.....
when upgrade to winxp it delete the win98 windows folder, and thats when all my mails r gone

....

i tried to recover the lost folder and inbox.dbx file bun with no luck.

does any 1 knows a way to recover this lost date?
i tried using some file recover app but again with no luck.

any help will b appreciated.
