Default Video Card Box Says 9600Pro, Card Says X1300 & X1600 - What one is it?

I paid for a ATI X1300 PCI-E Video Card with 256mb. The box has the ATI Radeon 9600 Pro bubble stamped and the 256MB DDR option stamped allong with the AGP bubble option stamped. The car itself on the front says "TA-X1600" printed on the board, then on the back it has a sticker that says X1300Le PCIE 256MB. why is it like this.. my older card has the same problem.. Something completly diffrent on the box that the card. Without installing it can I tell what one it really is?..

X1600 with a X1300 HSF, could have been shipped in a 9600 PRO box, and arrived to your door?

HSF = Heatsink, usually a metal such as aluminum or copper to absorb heat from computer components and usually cooled by circulating air from a fan.......

So I guess you got what you paid for....... What manufacture is it and how did you buy it? I would personally stay clear from that brand in the future if they are not organized enough to put the correct HSF on a card........ (unless it was switched by whom ever you bought from......)

I got it from tigerdirect and its a ATI brand X1300... My Nvidia brand GeForce 4 Mx4000 has the same problem.

But I installed the card and it is a 1300 like I paid for
