Smile i need a good headset?

i have a headset jack on the front of my tower and it works fine its just im looking for a headset that will go good with it. and i look online and i see alot of these headsets that got it so you can talk and use it as a microphone for games and use it to hear music i was wonder what should i look for to know that its gonna fit in that small stereo headset jack on my tower my motherboard has a slot for sound card its built into the motherboard and it has a mic jack and im confused as to which thing to plug the headset into so can yall help me out and tell me what to look for so i can get just what i need without getting something thats gonna be a pain.

There are many different features in Headsets Sound Quality, Input quality etc.
You get what you pay for.
But the main difference is USB or Microphone/Headphone Jack types.
USB types are of course more expensive. But the other type give average sound and average input quality it is enough for any gamer. You can get them for between about AU$10-AU$50 again you get what you pay for.

thank you and i got another question if i got one with a microphone and pluged it into my headset jack it would work as a microphone too even if i dont plug it into the motherboard's microphone jack?

No, you have to connect both the sound output and the microphone input. If you don't have both near eachother you may look into a USB headset.

i look on tigerdirect and i dont know of what would be the best headset id like to get a usb headset
