Widescreen Monitor?

I currently have a Dell CRT monitor.

I have a Nvidia Geforce 2 MX/MX400 Graphics card and i would like to upgrade to a widescreen monitor.

Does anybody know whether my card supports widescreens?

i'd be more worried about the lack of widescreen support for games (if your a gamer).
