Ok, I have two amps, one of which is a Peavey Bandit 112 TransTube which outputs around 100 Watts (1 x 12" Speaker), and a Behringer LX210 which outputs around 120 Watts (2 x 10" Speakers).
However, a few months ago the handle of the Peavey amplifier broke off and the amp smashed onto the ground. It has never worked since then. I've opened it up, looked at the fuses, but I can't tell which ones are blown (there are 3 - one for the power PCB, and 2 for the main PCB). It powers on ok, but nothing comes out the speaker. So, I have decided I want to use the speaker as an extension for my Behringer - almost like a cabinet. ![]() However, I'm a bit confused how to do this. I'm thinking that I need to connect the postive (red) and negative (black) wires coming from the speaker, to a 1/4 Female Jack. Then I can just plug a 1/4 Jack to Jack guitar lead from the output on my Behringer to the female jack input on the Peavey speaker. Can someone tell me if this is going to work, or whether I should stop right now?
