The Game shop in my town is getting a new stock in this week but wouldn't say when, and they aren't taking pre-orders on them so if its first come first serve. Your best bet would be to look everywhere you can. In every shop that may sell it.

you could try to pick one up on ebay, i'm not sure what all the fuss is about i played one and wasn't too impressed... but i'm more into stuff that the wii isn't about such as 5.1 surround and 1080p high definition, and media center extender, all of which are offered by the xbox 360 anyway i head that the release of the wii was a lot later in the UK than in the US so yea you'll probably be sold out for a while.

Only for people who use xbox live.... others are still stuck with 1080i...

its a different way of drawing the picture, it's the same over all resolution but i stands for interlaced, this means that the tv or monitor will draw part of the picture then the rest of the picture in more than one step, p (sorry can't remember what it stands for) means that the picture is drawn all at once it tends to increase picture clarity i think, i'm not really sure i havn't ever seen them side by side

true but you could just take your xbox somewhere with high speed internet and download it, my guess would be that if you have a good enough tv to actually use 1080p you probably would have high speed internet so you can use xbox live too. I don't know...

Go here and buy online in the UK http://www.wiifind.co.uk/buywii.html...FTFZMAodKXGF6A

It lists sellers of the wii in the UK and tells you if they have them in stock or not.
