Default Net-work connection issues.

I’ve been having some connection issues with my cable I-net. I talked to some tech support and it seems that they have made the issues worse than it was. Before I had I-net and once in a while it would be spotty when loading some wabpages. Now I have nothing and it seems that my isp has change as well? If I did a system restore from a couple days ago, would that bring back my old I-net settings?

What connection you have?
Try going to Control panel > Network connections then right click on the connection and go to properties > then click on Internet protocol (TCP/IP) > then click on properties > Then set the IP & DNS to Automatic.

Default ...

All that is setup correctly and my modem and router are receiving a signal, but for some reason I can not get it to connect. Even when the Ip is set to automatic. But like I said earlier it seems like my ip has changed from what it was originally. I'm not sure if the tech reset it or changed it some how, but its not the same as it was. I'm at work now, so I cant go into to much detail, but I'm pretty stumped on what is happening.
