Ok when my friend connected his ipod (which was having problems when he connected it to his windows machine) suddenly when I restarted the computer, it would only go to the welcome screen and hang. I looked up a reason as to why and how to fix this and someone suggested to do a repair install. So here come the problems. After going through most of the repair process it goes to the install screen and gets to about 34% finished, blue screen of death, and restarts the process all over again. I looked up this problem and someone else said to copy these certain "asms" directories from the d: drive to a floppy disk in the a: drive. I have no idea how to "copy directories" in windows. I know how to do it linux but as far as I know, copying directories in windows is just dragging the files over to the floppy right? Can anyone help me with either copying these directories properly solving this windows issue? Thanks!
