Ok, my roommate has been complaining about his laptop a lot lately. He recently downloaded FF, and it likes to freeze up a lot or is very slow. I have cleaned the spyware and his McAfee doesnt show anything. Can someone take a look at this HJT log and see if there is a problem.

would you fix this in the msconfig?

And if i post the running processes and startup, could you tell me what doesnt need to be there. I know most of the but there are a few i am unsure about.

i went into msconfig and took the tick out of everything exept my razer mouse and firewall and antivirus

so does that mean most of those applications dont need to be running. On my computer i have pretty much everything unchecked except firewall/AV/spyware and stuff like Intel and Toshiba. My roommate's comp has a lot of stuff on it that i dont know what it is. Is it safe to uncheck most of it?

What is the system32 stuff? isnt that important?
