Uber sweet rig. It's going to PWN. I wish I was a chick so you could be my sugar daddy and build me a matching PC. LMAO Good luck and I like the "because I can spend the $$". I dropped $2600 on my setup. But that includes the 37" HD LCD 1920x1080P wall mounted. I do hope you're going with a 30" or bigger monitor to take advantage of those two 8800 ponies!

Make sure it support high res. I have a DLP projector for my home theater and it supports 1024x768. But it's super hard to read. Also the projector shows lines shimmering from top to bottom when viewing the PC. I have it going through S-video though (it's just a media PC) so I'm sure yours would look better going through DVI. My HD programs look great on it but they go through the DVI input. But I'd recommend a DLP projector with 1080P (1920x1080 at least). But like i said it's hard to read so I had to go to 800x600 to read the text (I have 20/15 vision too). All in all I'm actually happier with the picture from my 37" HD LCD for gaming. Also an LCD is brighter and you won't have the backlight from the projector. A projector also needs a very dark/black room with no light bleeding. With my LCD I can play it in my room in full daylight. Just a thought.
Oh and when it gets that big it can be hard to get used to. I'm still adjusting to the size on my 37" I notice I'm not quite as effective playing FPS's. I'm getting there but it's a lot more to take in. You have to be the right distance away. I sit 6ft from my 37". I tried 4ft and felt like I was too close and almost felt like it was overwhelming my senses .

haha I wanted to get some nice and big like that but the screen I have now is a 22" WD by Chimei, so I'd probably get another and run dual monitors with the projector for like movies. Of course I will have to try gaming off of it too!
