Also Can i upgrade my laptop from Pentium 2 to Pentium 4 Intel w/ wireless internet?

I would like to get Wireless onternet built in so where ever I go I can scan for Internet signals. Also I would like a fast processor and I would like to get a better ram I have a 164 of RAM and I want a better graphics card.

You can't redesign your laptop... Unless you just mean painting it or something. Or I guess if you want to add stuff to it with Bondo or something, that's possible too

And no, you can't upgrade from a Pent. II to a Pent. 4. You CAN add a wireless PC-Card(PCMCIA) but that's it. You can't upgrade your graphics card, either.

I spoke with the author by PM earlier so I'm pretty sure this thread's finished So we can mess it up a bit ^^;

I did actually come across a laptop some time ago that did litterly have two PCI slots in it's base. The thing was obviuosly much larger than any other laptop around there, but that was pretty rare. I'm sure you could stick a video card in it, but of course it wouldn't show up on the monitor.

one of my buddies used to have one with an actual PCI-E slot in it... but just as you said, it's much larger than any normal laptop and they give off enough heat to melt the polar ice caps...
