Default Did I get a good deal on this PC?

Hi Guys,

I bought a SFF PC, and was wondering if you think I got a good (or decent) deal. Heres the auction link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=270065389662

I'm pretty sure it comes with the p4 processor, hd, and ram, but I'm not too sure! Though it does say barebone, it does list the 120gb hd specifically, and i think i can see it in the pic, making me believe the other components are there.

Either way, if it doesn't come with those components, I'd just file a chargeback with my CC (I hope this would work) and send the product back with proof of return.

Oh and in case any of you are wondering why didn't I email him... i did. but the response I got back was the item was already packed, and they described it the best the could in the auction. I believe that, considering they sell LOTS of liquidation stuff. I'm just hoping barebones = no cd-rom drive.

My questions are:
1. Do you think the components listed in the title are included in the pc, or was he just listing what it maxes out on?

2. Do you think it was a good deal?

It came out to $185.00 shipped.

Thanks.

Phillip.

Oh, and I'm only using this to carry to a friends house to play cs.

Not too bad. It only has on-board video so I'd definetly look into upgrading that. Hopefully it's got an AGP slot or something.

I'd say it looks like it comes with the CPU, RAM, and HD. But you should just email the seller and ask now. Otherwise to play CS make sure you get a video card. A 7600GT should be fine for CS. I'd get a Lite-on DVD burner for you CD/DVD drive. Make sure you have a PCI-E slot and not agp.

Here check these:
Lite-on DVD Burner (SATA interface) $34.99

EVGA 7600GT with $20 MIR $129.99 before rebate $109.99 after.

Hey thanks for the quick replies guys! It makes me feel a lot better to hear people say the deals not bad.. I've kinda been out of the computer world for a while so my prices are skewed!

I have tried emailing the seller, but it's a liquidation warehouse so they couldn't say because, quite frankly, there's a lot of stuff moving in and out. The response I got back was it was already boxed and ready to ship.. kind of like they didn't have the time to check it. But I will ask again tonight!

Oh, and the downside is this PC is somewhat old technology, it doesn't support PCI-E! I do have an AGP slot, and it supports DDR memory.

As far as the AGP slot goes, I have a 6200 256mb DDR2 lying around. Should I throw that in, or what would you recommend?

The 6200 will be ok for some light CS use. It will be playable just probly @ 1024x768 with med settings.
